About Society
The Kirodimal Institute of Technology,
Raigarh runs under the society named Kirodimal Polytechnic society Raigarh. The
head office of the society is situated at Kirodimal Institute of Technology,
Garhumaria, Raigarh (C.G.) The objectives of the Kirodimal Polytechnic society
are:
1. To impart education and facility of research in the field of Science,
Engineering, Technology and professional education as per the
norms and rules laid down by the AICTE and the Government of Chhattisgarh.
2. To administer and manage funds which may be received from the Government as
Grant-in-aid or as may be made available by other persons.
3. To take possessions of and to hold and manage any land building or other
immovable property, acquired, obtained or placed at the disposal of the society
for the aforesaid purpose.
4. To take such action incidental, ancillary or conductive to attainment of
objects stated above or any other similar objects, as per requirements
prescribed by the AICTE and Government of Chhattisgarh.
5. To accept and collect, on voluntary basis, donations from the local citizens,
industries & other organization and to raise funds/resources of the society by
levying or increasing fees on various activities and also to run testing and
consultancy services. The management of the affairs of the society is en-trusted
by the Regulation of the society to the BOARD OF GOVERNORS (B.O.Gs.) as per the
details given below.
